Our Story
Chefs for You is more than just a food truck—it’s a family dream brought to life. Founded by siblings Jesus and Louie alongside Mom, Patsy, our business is rooted in tradition, hard work, and a love for authentic flavors.
We grew up surrounded by the rich culinary traditions of our Mexican heritage, where food wasn’t just a meal—it was a way to gather, celebrate, and care for one another. From our Nana’s famous tamales and mole sauce to our Tata’s legendary Barbacoa, the recipes and values passed down through generations have shaped who we are today.
Jesus – Co-Founder, Head Chef & Marketing Lead
With over 30 years of culinary experience, Jesus specializes in both Mexican and Italian cuisine. His journey began in a small deli, where he discovered his passion for cooking. Inspired by his family’s recipes and work ethic, Jesus now oversees kitchen operations, recipe development, and social media marketing for Chefs for You.
Louie – Co-Founder & Sous Chef
Louie brings 20 years of food industry experience, including running two kitchens as head chef and serving as Lead Chef at The Burger Stand. From childhood experiments inspired by the Food Network to mastering every station in a professional kitchen, Louie’s approach is equal parts creativity and discipline. He manages food preparation, inventory, and day-to-day kitchen operations—always with a focus on quality and flavor.
Patsy – Co-Founder, Accountant & Office Manager
With more than two decades in accounting and financial management, Patsy ensures Chefs for You runs smoothly behind the scenes. The first in her family to graduate college, she brings an “old-school” work ethic and sharp financial acumen to the team. After retiring in 2023 and moving to Los Alamos to be near family, Patsy embraced the opportunity to join her sons in turning their shared dream into reality.
Together, we are committed to delivering gourmet, handcrafted meals that reflect our roots, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and bold, comforting recipes. Chefs for You is our way of honoring the flavors of our past while building something delicious for the future—one plate at a time.
